Bomb-blast protective film (also known as Anti-Shatter Film- ASF) absorbs the high pressures involved, holding all of the dangerous shards together. There are many specifications of film available, the correct specification depending upon risk factors and the level of protection required.
These films can be combined with a ‘wet-glaze’ system or even a ‘frame anchorage’ system for additional edge strength and protection, particularly on overhead glazing systems.
